County residents deserve the leadership
that Dr. Jay Shah can provide.

Dr.
Jay
Shah
MD
FAAPMR,
FAAPM,
FABC
is
expert
in
improving
the
quality
of
medical
care
and
has
worked
for
LA
County
Department
of
Health
to
serve
people
for
the
last
thirty
years.
But
even
being
an
expert
in
facilitating
good
quality
medical
care
to
our
needy
people
in
LA
County
he
has
been
stonewalled
by
administration,
and
so,
our
people
are
receiving
sub
standard
care
since
at
least
thirty
years. He
has
been
repeatedly
harassed
by
county
administration
for
speaking
up
to
provide
good
quality
care
to
our
county
residence.
He
has
paid
a
heavy
price
for
demanding
good
quality
care
to
all
of
our
county
residents
-
especially
in
hospitals
and
county
clinic.
Being
assigned
by
the
Director
of
Health
to
provide
good
standards
of
care
he
is
able
to
set
good
standards
of
medical
care
but
he
has
faced
opposition
from
administration. at
Rancho
Rehab
Hospital
of
Downey,
and
UCLA
Harbor
Hospital
of
Torrance.
At
these
two
facilities
he
has
noted
serious
sub
standard
of
medical
care
during
his
work
as
physician
specialist
during
1979
to
2006.
He
has
complained
to
State
Health
Department
and
State
Medical
Board
and
JCAHO. but
the
bureaucrats
of
county
administration
got
slapped
on
the
hand
only.
During
this
period
thousand
of
county
residents
got
serious
medical
conditions
like
stroke,
heart
attacks,
loss
of
kidney,
eye
and
amputations
of
legs.
Patients
and
relatives
are
so
ignorant
that
they
can
not
appose
such
callous
medical
treatment.
Who
will
pay
the
price
in
county
administration
for
this
heinous
crime.
Due
to
resistance
by
administration
to
change
and
improve
quality
medical
care
to
thousand
of
poor
people
Dr.
Shah
has
felt
much
stress
and
unhappiness
as
a
human
being
and
so
he
can
not
get
job
satisfaction
as
a
good
medical
specialist. His
concern
for
care
to
poor
has
created
a
serious
conflict
and
it
is
his
life
time
mission
to
improve
medical
care
in
LA
County.
Due
to
sub
standard
care
in
clinics
for
many
years
in
treatment
of
diabetes
and
hypertension
,
thousands
of
our
county
residents
has
lost
life,
and
experienced
many
other
medical
miseries
like
stroke,
and
heart
attacks
or
amputations,
loss
of
sight
or
kidney
failure.
It
is
a
shame
full
situation
that
people
in
charge
of
protecting
the
health
and
well
being
of
county
residents
are
negligent
in
duties
and
state
consumer
department
is
also
failing
miserably
in
supervising
the
medical
care
provided
by
the
County.
Even
federal
government
Medicare
and
social
service
is
not
supervising
thoroughly
the
care
provided
to
county
residents.
As
a
concerned
citizen
and
ethical
medical
doctor
I
decided
to
contest
this
election
so
that
I
can
help
to
provide
good
medical
care
to
the
poor
people
of
LA
County.
I
am
not
a
politician
,
but
volunteer
to
serve
the
community.
