Dr. Jay Shah has worked for LA County Department of Health to serve people for the last thirty years. Being an expert in facilitating good quality medical care to our needy people in LA County he has been stonewalled by administration and so our people are receiving sub standard care since at least twenty years. He has been repeatedly harassed by county administration for speaking up to provide good quality care to our county residence. He has paid a heavy price for demanding good quality care to all of our county residence - especially in hospitals and county clinic, even though he is able to set good standards of  medical care he has faced opposition from administration. He has noted serious sub standard of medical care during his work as physician specialist. 
Due to resistance by administration to change and improve quality medical care to thousand of poor people  Dr. Shah has felt much stress and unhappiness as a human being and so he  can not get job satisfaction as a good  medical specialist .His concern for care to poor has created a serious conflict and  it is his life time mission to improve medical care in LA County.

Due to sub standard care in clinics for many years in treatment of  diabetes and hypertension , thousands of our county residence has lost life, and experienced many other medical  miseries like stoke, and heart attacks or amputations, loss of sight or kidney failure. It is a shame ful situation that people in charge of protecting the health and well being  of county residence are negligent in duties and state consumer department is also failing miserably in supervising the medical care provided by the County. Even federal government  Medicare and social service is not supervising thoroughly the care provided to county residence. As a concerned citizen and ethical medical doctor I decided to contest this election so that I can help to provide good medical care to the poor people of LA County. I am not a politician , but  volunteer to serve the community.
